Fragments of a Folded World
In my recent creative session, I have moved away from the vast horizons of the Alps to explore a different kind of monumentality. This new series is a landscape born not from geology, but from a single, deliberate gesture in the silence of my studio. It is a journey into what I call The Illusive Architecture.

The Paradox of Matter
At first glance, the human eye seeks confirmation of stone. It looks for the weight of a mountain range, the cold resilience of a granite peak or the ancient textures of a canyon. Yet, the truth is far more fragile. These images are the result of an intimate dialogue with a single sheet of raw paper. By manipulating its surface, I created a friction between what we perceive and what truly exists.
In the realm of Fine Art, we often chase the spectacular by traveling thousands of miles. However, I believe that the “Unseen” is much closer. Sometimes, it is hidden in the folds of the ordinary, waiting for the right light to reveal its psychological depth. To me, a piece of crumpled paper is not waste. It can become a potential universe.

A Presence in the Material World
This series was conceived to dialogue with raw, honest materials. I imagine these canvases in environments that value texture and stillness: a minimalist executive office, an industrial loft with exposed concrete, or a private residence where wood and stone are the primary narrators.
As with all my work, the authority of the shadow remains the protagonist. While light describes the surface, it is the darkness that tells the story.
In The Illusive Architecture, the shadow is not an absence of information. It is the narrative space where the observer’s curiosity begins. These are not just photographs to me. They are silent witnesses to the power of human perception and the alchemy of the ordinary.
